Weft yarn sensors are used for weft yarn detection on looms. During weft insertion, the weft thread is withdrawn from the yarn guide of the sensor. This yarn movement is converted into an electrical signal by a piezoelectric element inside the sensor. This electrical signal is amplified and evaluated together with the marking position to detect a broken weft and stop the machine.
Our weft sensor can meet the weaving needs of variable fabrics; it is suitable for weaving yarns of different specifications at the same time. The weft sensor can also realize on-site control and data acquisition/monitoring through the CAN bus system.
