Specifications

Where It Is Used

It regulates the compressed air pulse in the weft insertion circuit, so a worn valve shows up as weak or irregular weft insertion rather than as a mechanical breakage.

This is a wear item, so a small buffer stock usually costs less than a single day of loom downtime. Mills running several machines normally keep one spare per machine group.
