Leno device for a weaving machine, preferably a double rapier flat or velor carpets, designed for obtaining wear edge, characterized in that the leno device associated with the one or more edges having vertical parallelogram rod back surface of the front portion provided with a wire which is maintained in a vertical position, while the adjacent rods can parallelogram corner point about the pivot point to pivot freely, so that the wires can move up and down.
